When we woke up this morning we got dressed to ride the bicycle and then ate breakfast at the motel. After breakfast we loaded the bicycles and prepared to ride to our next destination. However, Mary Kay's back still hurt so we decided to have a practice ride in the motel parking lot. She could pedal the bicycle without any pain but to get her legs onto and off the pedals caused her much pain. She was afraid that if she rode the bicycle all day for the next several days, she would not be able to ride for several weeks. Therefore we attempted to rent an automobile that would hold both bicycles and three people. After calling three rental car companies we could not find a car in Dover. Mary Kay looked out the window and saw a U-Haul location across the road. I walked over to the U-Haul office and rented the smallest truck that they had in stock which we drove to Corinth by following the route we had planned to bicycle. So tonight we are at our friend Joan's house in Corinth where we will stay for 2 to 4 days to let her back heal, and us to rest up for the rest of our trip.
