We ate a good breakfast at the motel and headed for more of those Missouri hills. They were not very steep, the steepest grade was 6 % but there were a lot of hills until we reached Boonville. On the way to Boonville we stopped at Arrow Rock, and visited a Missouri state park and museum. This is where Daniel Boom sons used to make salt. Of course we had to stop and have a snack and more ice-cream. We had a great lunch in Boonville before we headed for the KATY Trail. For the last 12 miles of the day we were on the KATY trail and it was very flat. The surface consisted of finely crushed limestone. The KATY trail was very nice riding and the scenery was great. We had trees to look at instead of corn and soy beans, not to mention a neat tunnel just as we reached Rocheport.
Tonight we are staying in a B&B. We are sharing a large room in the carriage house with Ken & Jan. We have a bathroom with a shower, but no sink. There is a basin you can put water in and then pour it down the toilet or shower. George and Jane are staying in the main house.
