Today was our last rest day. Hard to believe the trip is almost over. We all slept in then ate a better then average breakfast in the hotel. We spent most of the morning trying to figure out where wanted to spend tomorrow night. We finally were able to make motel reservations for a good price in St. Louis. We then all walked down to the historic part of St. Charles; we ate lunch, rode the trolley car around town and visited several shops. We then walked back to the motel to figure out the best way to leave the motel tomorrow morning. Once again, we did not feel like walking downtown so we ordered supper delivered to the motel.

Mary Kay spent several hours putting ice on her back from the time she fell off the bike a couple of days ago. It has been a great adventure and we are all glad we came on the trip, but at the same time we will all be glad to return to our other lives.
