Today was a perfect day for a Rest Day, and rest we did. It was cold, raining and windy most of the day. It was the kind of day that felt good to be inside with a good book. In the morning the women walked down about 4 blocks to the laundry and took care of the cleaning chores. The rest of the day was spent watching TV, reading, cleaning bicycles, grocery shopping. It was great to sit around, with no schedule or nothing that had to be done.

George and Jane visited Albertson's and then ate supper in the motel room. The rest of us walked across the street and ate supper at he same restaurant we had visited the night before. By 8:00, most of us were ready to call it a day and prepare to ride tomorrow. We hope the rain is blowing over.
