Mena AR Rest Day

Today we woke up in a motel that did not provide breakfast, but we had some instant hot oatmeal with us so we added hot water and sat around our room reading and relaxing until time to checkout. The hotel was booked for Friday night so we needed to move across town. We loaded up our bicycle and along the way we stopped at a store and bought some more Q-tips, I am sure you all wanted to know this. We then rode down to the "Mena Depot Center" and enjoyed the exhibits in the museum. As we were ready to leave it started to rain so we rode a block and stopped at a used book store and picked up two more books to carry. We rode up to Janssen Park and then found a café for a good lunch. By then it was 1:30 and the sun was shinning so we rode out to our 2nd motel in Mena.
We spent the afternoon reading, catching up on computer work and just enjoying a day of rest. The only bad thing is for supper we had to walk one way over a mile to find a restaurant, but we had a good supper, and we are now ready to head for Oklahoma tomorrow.
