This morning I took my buddy Dave for a flight. We meet out at the hangar at 9:00am on what should have been a sunny morning but instead had solid overcast at about 2,500 with broken clouds at 2,000. Due to the cloud layer, we didn't get much higher than about 1,500 feet. I took Dave over to McMinnville, then to Lendhardt, and then to the practice area before heading back to Twin Oaks. We made two grass field landings and two on the hard surface. Dave flew between airports and performed one back-taxi on grass. He also made a 360 turn that was perfect. The picture to the right is Dave maneuvering the airplane.
