Visiting daughter Katie and husband John in Tipp City OH

John left work early and picked us up at the airport and drove us to their home in Tipp City, where Katie joined us and cooked an excellent meal. Thursday morning, Jim was finally able to get his cell phone fixed and the GPS Software updated. Once our chores were done we used Katie's car to drive to Cincinnati Ohio a visit of the Freedom Museum. A must see for anyone in the area. We returned to Tipp City just about the time Katie and John returned from work and once again Katie and John prepared us a good supper and we were able to enjoy their new Plasma TV screen. With the surround sound it was a great experience.

Friday, we completed our chores, just getting the computer ready to travel, updating emails, etc. while Katie attended a morning seminar. She returned home early in the afternoon and then treated her Mom to a great pedicure. I have such pretty toes to start the trip. We ate supper at a local Chinese restaurant with excellent food and live Jazz music, a very enjoyable fun evening. Saturday we relaxed at home and Katie and Mary Kay want grocery shopping. We picked lots of tomatoes from their garden and enjoyed eating outdoors.

Sunday morning we attended the Café Church. A very different positive experience drinking Starbucks coffee sitting around small tables, as you sang and listened to the sermon. Katie again cooked us a great bunch. And we made three kinds of salsa for their cell group from Church. We enjoyed the evening cell group time with Katie and John's friends.

Monday morning, Katie dropped us off at the airport after the usual wait we had a one hour flight back to Millwaukee. We landed and 20 minutes later we were sitting on the train going to Chicago. We arrived in Chicago around noon, giving us time to walk to the Chicago Art Institute where we enjoyed looking at the great paintings, including the American Gothic. We spent the late afternoon relaxing in the Amtrak lounge before we head out tonight to Washington DC.
