Thanks to Jane, Mary Kay woke up this morning having only a little pain from her cramped back muscles. We ate breakfast, loaded up the bicycle and headed north. We were immediately going up and down hills just like the end of yesterday. We stayed on Highway 1 because we had been told that although Highway 1 had 6 to 8 percent grades, the alternate roads that did not have all the traffic of Highway 1 had grades in excess of 10 percent at times.

Today was much like yesterday, one hill after another. We did stop and have a nice lunch and then rode another 15 miles to the motel. The motel is new and is supposed to have a guest laundry. They have not yet installed the washer and dryer in the guest laundry so Mary Kay did her thing and they are washing our dirty laundry for us.

The traffic has been busy enough that we have not taken any pictures the last 2 days. Tomorrow is the last day we ride before we load the bicycles and head home.
