Pasco to Moses Lake WA

Off for another adventure it was great just getting up in our house loading the bicycle up and peddling out of the garage on our way to Moses Lake. Monday night we hosted a potluck at our house for our small group from church. That was O.K. but Jim staying up to watch TV after they left helped give us a late start in the morning. It did not help that Mary Kay had spent the last week taking care of stuff rather then doing training rides on the bicycle. We had a good start of the ride but found we were going slower then normal up the hills and the heat was causing us to tire quicker then normal. It can't be that we are getting older then the 15 years since we did this ride before. We arrived in Othello for lunch around 2:30 in the afternoon, as we entered town we passed a U-Haul Truck, and as we ate lunch we decided it was foolish to try to ride the rest of the way into Moses Lake. So we rode back to the rental place and asked to rent a truck. We then decided it was better for us and the agent for him to drive us to Moses Lake and just drop us off at the motel. So we arrived at the Motel in Moses Lake at 5:00 tired, but in time for quick shower, dinner and to bed before 8:00.
