Hard to believe 3 days short of a year since a car going 65 miles per hour connected with our bicycle in Texas and Mary Kay broke her leg, cracked ribs etc. and we are well and on our second long bicycle ride. In April May we cycled with Scott and Barb thru Utah, Nevada and Arizona completing our goal of cycling all 48 of the lower Untied States.
This time we are cycling to and from the Northwest Tandem Rally (NWTR) in Victoria Canada. We will leave our house on our Rans tandem recumbent to cycle to Grand Coulee, where we will meet other cycling friends to cycle to the Ferry in Anacortes to cross to Vancouver Island and Victoria, to attend the NWTR (sleeping in the dorms at the University of Victoria). We will cycle home by ourselves through Leavenworth and Quincy; it should be a very warm hilly trip.
