Grand Coulee WA -- Rest Day
Woke up early and walked over to the Motel Office for a good breakfast. Small space but well stocked with food. We then used the motel laundry, a first for us we received a key to the laundry room with 2 washers and dryers, but only one person could use the laundry at a time. Allowing you to lock the room and not worry about watching the dryer and washer, not a bad idea, but the first time we had ever had a motel set up this way.
We then decided to walk into town and get a feel of the land. Walked about 4 blocks and the phone rang. Needed to do some business via the fax machine so we walked back to the motel ate lunch and finished our business. We then got down to serious rest time with our books until. Gaynelle & Jack, Susan & Dave, and Ken & Jan arrived from their bicycle ride from Spokane. The 8 of us had a great supper and then walked back to the motel to prepare for our ride in the morning.
